Welcome to Kimpton Alton Hotel. At this time, we are open and accepting guests.

We're continuing to monitor developments and following guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), State of California, and City & County of San Francisco. To help safeguard your health and best serve you during your stay with us, we've made necessary modifications to our amenities and services. In addition to our rigorous standard housekeeping routines, we've increased the frequency of our cleaning procedures and have put in place additional measures to enhance our disinfection protocol in public areas.

Guest Amenity Fees

  • Guest Amenity Fee of $30 + tax will be charged per night of your stay and include the following:
    • $5 daily credit to our locally inspired Bodega featuring artisanal eats and regional wines.
    • Premium WiFi throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces.
    • In Room Victrola Record Players + Vinyl Lending Library
    • Retro-inspired board games on lend.
    • Complimentary newspapers and magazines digitally via PressReader
    • Kimpton Alton San Francisco Walking Tour.
    • Complimentary local calls.
    • Complimentary printing services.

Signature Kimpton Programs:

  • Morning Coffee Service available at the Front Desk from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. or a Nespresso coffee maker can be provided upon request.
  • Morning Kick-Start will feature a “Kimpton Get Up + Go” playlist and complimentary access to Press Reader content on guests’ personal devices. Download the Press Reader app prior to your stay
  • Evening Social Hour hosted in our living room from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.
  • Kimpton bikes are available on a first come first served basis and will have an additional layer of disinfection with the guest present prior to bike check out.
  • In-room Spa Services have been suspended

Parking Services:

  • Valet parking is available at $62/night

Housekeeping Services:

  • We have removed certain guest room items as a precautionary measure or in some cases made changes to other in room amenities. Learn more about Kimpton’s Approach to Clean.
  • If you prefer not to receive service during stay, please advise the front desk upon arrival.
  • You can also text us directly at (415) 289-5351 to request delivery of our “Forgot It, We Got It” items, such as a toothbrush or razor, at any time during your stay.

Bodega:

Fitness Center:
