We're not going to sugarcoat it for you, Pier 39 is a tourist attraction. But it's also the heart of our waterfront, less than half a mile from our hotel, and absolutely worth enjoying. If its bustling entertainment and shopping options don't draw you in, the panoramic bay views including of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island will.
